parent depression

Parents often feel stressed and depressed when their adolescents are having problems. Symptoms of depression include sad mood, reduced interest or pleasure in activities, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, difficulties with concentration, thoughts of wanting to die or of suicide, sleep problems, appetite problems, fatigue, or feeling agitated or moving more slowly than usual. These symptoms can affect your work, your relationships, and your ability to effectively help your teen. Talk to your Care Support Manager, who can assist you in finding a counselor or doctor who might be able to help with these symptoms.
